Coal based activated carbon is used for purification of toxic gases, waste gas treatment, purification of industrial and domestic
water, and solvent recovery, etc.

Its appearance is generally black cylindrical activated carbon, amorphous coal granular activated carbon(broken carbon).
Cylindrical activated carbon(columnar carbon), is generally prepared by mixing, extruding, and then carbonizing and activating
a powdery raw material and a binder. It can also be extruded with powdered activated carbon and a binder. It has developed
pore structure, good adsorption performance, high mechanical strength, easy repeated regeneration and low cost.
